The ending wasn't bad, but teh first part of this book really dragged. I wanted to know how it ended, but seriously hated reading the first half of the book to get to anything that was actually interesting. Personally, I do not think the author did well writing royalty. I've read alot of royal romances, and this one does not measure up. I was curious to know about the princess's mystery and why she was in hiding, would she go back, but quite frankly, the entire first half of this book is uninteresting.

I bought this book because I'm a fan of the author. Unfortunately, she choose two themes that I hate. The modern-day royal of some obscure little fictional country, and the evil big-city guy out to destroy the perfect small town. Blech. After reading the first few chapters, I ended up skipping to the end just to see how it all worked out. This may have been an okay read if you like those themes, but it just wasn't a good fit for me.

Thisq was a cute story but suffered from the beginning being too drawn out and not of great importance. I liked the characters though.
