Leadership and Liberty

Rate this book
This book is designed to build upon Launching a Leadership Revolution and Leadership Tidbits and Treasures by not only reviewing timeless leadership principles, but by focusing them upon leadership as applied by the concepts of liberty and freedom, and specifically to winning back much of what has been lost in our lands. Our intent is that this book will not only inform and educate, but equip leaders both new and experienced alike, to make an increasing difference in the fight for the first principles of freedom. As Thomas Jefferson wrote, "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free...it expects what never was and will never be.

I like it a lot as it helps me in leadership knowledge with many principles and short chapters are easy to read and even after some days of gap in reading this book it is easy to start new chapter without reminding my self about previously studied chapter.

This is my second time through this collection of short essays and blog posts. Both Woodward and Brady are strong voices for smaller government, personal responsibility, and entrepreneurship.

As they point out, everyone will be called upon to lead at some point and this book gives the reader much to consider in the leadership journey.

I truly enjoyed, and strongly recommend, this book.

OMG! What a book! Really gets your mind churning as to government and leadership. I like how history is also throughout the book, intertwined with the leadership and gives clear examples of leadership and liberty. I think everyone should read this book.

Such an amazing book cover to cover. Chris Brady and Orrin Woodward have made leadership education an eye opening experience for someone like me. I never concerned myself with what shape our country was in. But this one book alone has cemented my belief that we all need to become educated citizens so we are able to influence our one great country to return to those ideals. Thank you Chris and Orrin for sharing your vast amounts of knowledge on these subjects!

A GREAT collection of short anecdotes. Provides excellent insight into historical events, personal characteristics of historical figures, politics and economics, just to name a few. Easily enables the reader to identify the positive traits they desire to emulate, as well as the undesirabe traits that they should strive to avoid.

There are so many great leadership principals taught in this book. There is much great history and demonstration of the demise of the American way of life that we treasure along with the hard things we must do to save this country and our way of life. Am I willing to fight for what I believe and teach it to our children and grandchildren.

Chris Brady is one of "Inc." magazines Top 50 Leadership Experts. He writes in a light style that is easy to read and understand. In this volume he explores the connection between strong moral leadership and its direct relationship to liberty, and how the people have a responsibility to find and place moral, strong, intelligent leaders in positions of power and responsibility.

It was good. Just took me a while to finish. The format of the chapters was a little annoying and was something I had to get use to. Overall it is a good book which is something I am use to when it comes to Orrin Woodward and Chris Brady.

I liked the style of this book, mostly 1-2 page "chapters" on many different topics. Parts had inspirational quotes. I liked that too!

History class would have been a lot more fun had this been a part of the curriculum! Chris and Orrin have a way of writing a message that sucks you in forcing you to identify with the cause.
