Christianity slipped in, no thanks!

I am very upset to have been thrown off of reading this book aloud to my child by references of praying to god and Christian based bible verses toward the end. I bought this book digitally so I had no idea. Will be asking for a refund.

The story made sense and had illustrations that helped the child understand the text It rhymed well and had a reassuring message.

Young children and early readers would enjoy this book because of the ruling pattern in the text and the message.

Cute story

They story was confusing at first but the ending made it all come together. My son was able to read familiar words and learn a few new ones.

Review from 6 year old

I like this book because it rhymes. I like it because the mom was being funny. I like it because it was easy for me to read.

Didn't want this book to count as a book for my 2019 challenge. My daughter read it to me. It's a cute fun book.

"No thanks Mom, I just want to sleep in my bed."
Sweet "learn to read" book for younger children, (as well as entertaining to any mom who has a son). This is one of if not my favorite nap time books to read to our toddler. About a mom and son having a conversation about where he should sleep. The mom is the one who is asking about all the interesting bed choices such as, a bear's cave or upside down like a fly. Great illustrations with a sweet prayer ending. LOVE THIS BOOK!

NOT an early reader!

This book is not an easy reader! My granddaughter, who's going into first grade, does fine with the beginning Bob books. I would not recommend this book for that grade level. And nowhere does it say that it's a Christian book, I resent the ending. I bought this on my kindle and so am stuck with it but I am dumping it immediately. Shame on you, Amazon!!

Religious content

Wish it were just a secular story
otherwise the story is very cute and with some poetic license it was a nice story.
