I read this back in 1994 when it was first published, on the recommendation of the editor who'd worked on it. I remember enjoying it a lot. This is a road-trip buddy type romance with an enemies-to-lovers trope. I remember enjoying the dialogue and the friction between the two leads. It took me a while to track it back down, so I apologize that the review isn't more detailed. I needed to load this into Goodreads before I forgot it again. :-)

This is my second time to read this book. I read it 15 years ago and was thinking about it the other day and decided to try and locate it. I like to re-visit books that I enjoyed in the past to see if the book still draws me in. I remember this being a fun book about two strangers that somehow hook up on a trip to California each for different reasons. It was just as fun the second time. It had a good message too.

Great story. I loved reading this. I used to own the book and loaned it to someone. Wish I hadn't.
