Interesting book but hard going on parts due to the writing style.
The book is basically covering the life of Klaus Barbie from being in the Hitler Youth to the being the Butcher of Lyon and then fleeing to South America and then brought to France for trial.
The book itself kind of ends abruptly at the trial and doesn’t really go into great detail about it. I was expecting more on this given the amount of detail it went into about other aspects of his life.
Worth a read to find out more about 1 of Hitlers henchmen.
