I began to groan in my spirit and weep after reading the first chapter of this book. I discern that this book has been covered with much prayer and intercession. I wept over the children that are being killed by abortion in America (more children have been killed by abortion than Hitler) and how the church has lost its way and my own short-comings. But there is hope for America and all nations if "My people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (See 2 Chronicles 7:14).

This book was written shortly after the 911 terrorist attack and it is a call for God's people to be history makers and to pray and to turn back to God. It shares the pitfalls of the charismatic movement and how we have errored in our ways and must return to the God of the Bible and abandon the errors of the past, so times of refreshing, restoration and revival may come (See Acts 3:20).

May we pray, seek God's face and turn from our wicked ways, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord and that He may heal our land and forgive our sins.

I highly recommend this book for all true Christians that believe they have "skin" in the outcome of the United States of America.
