I first read this book 15 years ago and although some parts now are out of date, it is an interesting account of a family who questions the benefits of their children going to school. There are some nice examples of day to day home education life and some good thoughts on the benefits of learning at home. I would recommend this to parents with young children who are considering home education as an option.

Well-written and interesting account of an early home educator. Some legal information included, and plenty of advice and suggestions. Rather out of date now, but still worth reading.
