This book is the most manly book I've ever read; it has everything a guy who asks the question "Why?" would want to know. This book is broken into chapters that are each a different category in the boyish science world. Within each chapter there is a different topic on each page or so asking an interesting question such as "Why do firecrackers explode?" and "How to low flow toilets work?" The book then goes about and answers the question through scientific facts. It really is a fun way to learn about science. I think that every guy should read this book at least once, but the book should be read with a mature attitude for the book has some mature topics in it. At some points in the book it goes into extreme detail and reading becomes more difficult and boring, but over all I absolutely loved this book because it was extremely hilarious and it answered so many questions that I had a 12 year old boy.

Fun book. Perfect gift from my wife. The topics are head-scratchers but are well explained. Light and informative tone. HIghly recommend for any guy who likes to laugh.
