Rate this book
Santa has a new son, and it’s immediately prophesied that the next girl born after the day-old Prince Nicky will grow up to be his Queen. Soon after Nicky’s birth, the Baroness von Drear gives birth to a baby girl, but when she discovers that a girl was born to a peasant family just hours before her own, she sets out to kill the baby girl so that her daughter will grow up to fulfill the Prophesy and become the next Queen of Santopia.

But the little baby girl, named Noelle, is smuggled across Frozen Lake and sent on Christmas Eve in the Grand Sleigh to live in London, safe from the clutches and the evil magic of the ruthless Baroness.

A novella that is Part 1 ... to be continued.
Years ago there was a schism and Santa's territory was split in two. Santa, Santa Pops (his father, the retired Santa) rule with love in Santopia, their capitol city. Baroness von Drear rules in Drear.
As Santa's wife gives birth to Prince Nicholas, the seer predicts that Nicholas will marry the first girl born thereafter when he reaches 18. The baroness is pregnant and plans on her daughter being queen. The baroness has plans for taking over the entire territory.
Since there was no conclusion to this story I'm not sure what else to say about it. It was well written with lots of imaginative touches. In all other aspects I need to see how the rest of the story works itself out.

When Santa's son is born the wizard prophosizes that he will marry the next baby girl born. A baby girl is born to a coal miner and his wife named Noelle an hour before the Baroness herself gives birth to her daughter.

The book is mostly a cat and mouse game of keeping Noelle away from the Baroness. It's not a bad story, though, I had trouble keeping straight all the different types of elves. There is enough adventure to keep a young reader engaged in the story.
