In the tradition of the popular "Mammoth Book of Oddities", Shaw has assembled a comprehensive volume of odd facts and outrageous information, from sex and death, health and beauty, to crime and punishment, and saints and sinners.
This book, appropriately, lives in our bathroom. I never get bored of reading it. I always find some new little tidbit of gross trivial knowledge whenever I crack it open.
It has some pretty gnarly descriptions of man's inhumanity to man, and some sensitive people would be really yucked out by it.
One of my favorite books EVER. I wouldn't bet my life on everything in here being true, but there's some weird crap that's happened in history and a lot of it is right here.
