Wow. Excellent insight into conquering fear! I didn't think that I struggled with fear before reading this booklet. It opened my eyes to see the idols of my heart more clearly, to subdue my fear to the glory of God, to fear God above all, and to love Him- for perfect love casts out fear! As Christians, we fear God alone, and can rise victorious over our sin!

I was having trouble with the initial rating, simply because while I connected with the book's premise, it failed to stick with me after reading. (Probably due to the fact that it was so short and I read it so fast in one sitting.) It was definitely convicting, however, and I got a lot out of filling in the blanks. The writing wasn't too spectacular, but the message was important, and I definitely think if more time was spent it could be a useful tool, especially in a group setting.

Personal Takeaway
I struggle with fear a lot, seeing as how I have a chemical imbalance, so when my pastor's wife presented me with this book I was excited to read it. It was a hard lesson to soak in, because I've never really associated my fear with sin to often. I will definitely be rereading this with a highlighter and sticky notes!
