About the author

Melinda Melton Crow has been a First Grade teacher for 15 years, and a Reading Recovery teacher for nine. She enjoys teaching children to read and getting to know each individual student and his/her family. When she’s not teaching or writing, Melinda enjoys traveling, gardening, and nice summer weather. Melinda has two wonderful boys with her husband, John. They also have two dogs, Buddy and Lucky.

My son thought it was a fun book

My 7 year old son recently borrowed this book from his school library.

It has easy text for beginning readers, and colorful illustrations. A good book for beginners that like trucks. He didn't need any help with any of the words and read the book several times before returning it.

Truck books are always a crowd-pleaser with little boys! My 2yr old loved this book. I ad-libbed a bit.
