I was looking for a good mystery when this popped up on my Kindle. Decided to give it a try although not familiar with the author... I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. If you are a fan of British style mysteries as I am, you will probably like it.
Another great story in the Eric Ward series. For a small criminal solicitor working on the banks of the Tune he gets involved in murder cases quite a lot.Looking forward to reading more in the series.
I have enjoyed reading this series, but for some reason, it doesn't seem quite finished yet. Each book has been another part of Eric's journey, with some interesting characters along the way, and I hope there will be another. Yes, I will recommend it.
Enjoyed another great read in the Eric Ward series.I found the story line in this read to be very well written. The more you read in the series the more you get to know the characters.I find Eric a very likable character.
I love these books and love all of the shady characters that Eric Ward must deal with as a lawyer. Very well written and keeps your interest right to the end! Can't wait for a new book!
Another well-plotted and enjoyable tale. The contrasting personalities between Eric Ward the careful lawyer and hothead DCI Charlie Spate give depth to these later stories in the series.
