Guilty of being a bloody bore!
But this book didn’t have the decency to simply be boring. No, it had to be disorientating and disjointed as well.
I have never wanted my money back for something I didn’t buy so badly in my life! Bloody irritating! I’m quite irritated!
Ugh! Stay away.

Awesome Story
I was totally pulled into this book from the beginning. Jade Royal has a gift for writing and grabbing the readers attention from the first sentence. I'm excited that her books were recommended to me and I'm looking forward to seeing more from her and reading more of her work.

Marked for Redemption is two of my favorite troops. Enemies to lovers with a little darkness. I need more. And plan on reading next books in series. Jade has a fan.

Zendaya wants to return to Queen Kiara's good graces. She is charged with torturing a hostage for information about other clans. There's something about Colton, though, what is it? This doesn't stop some pretty brutal torture, Colton is another vampire so he heals quickly enough.
In a twist that puts me in mind of American Horror Story Apocalypse, these two are totally different people.
This is a short story, with vivid torture and degradation... definitely not for the faint of heart. Read at your own risk. The story is engaging, though, as you wonder what will happen to these two.

Jade Royal claims her own unique place in the Underworld and I think it is just divine ✨️
There's blurred lines between the MCs bond and they have a mysterious past that sparks much curiosity! A lovers to enemies to lovers pull of back and forth. Our MMC, Colton is captured and tortured with a twisted mixture of pain and tenderness, consequently effecting his torturer, Zendaya in a mysterious way that leads to events unraveling their history...
I don't want to spoil too much!
This title focuses heavily on the two main love interests, with some VERY interesting bleed-over interaction with other characters we've met in past books of the series ✨️👀 along with more insight into the state of a certain clan.
