For years, Gretchen's main objective has been taking care of the boys of Heaven Sent. When her boys decide to take a hiatus, she decides to do the same.
Before she can begin her summer off, Gretchen has one last public commitment. There, she meets tall, mysterious, and wickedly handsome Archer Thanos. Archer's company has a video game based on Heaven Sent and he's has been trying to get in touch with her to discuss it. Their first meeting quickly turns into a discussion of another type . . . in a nearby hotel room, sending Gretchen headlong into a whirlwind affair she hadn't anticipated.
Only, someone isn't exactly thrilled about Gretchen and Archer's romance. Gretchen's adorable new assistant, Owen, has been pining for his boss since he started working for her but he hasn't had the courage to assert himself and tell her he wants her. As a result, Gretchen is completely blind to his feelings for her. And after meeting Archer, Owen knows he has no chance against the handsome devil. His own attraction to the older man is instant and overwhelming, the bisexual urges he hasn't divulged to Gretchen fully awakening.
Owen thinks he's not enough for Gretchen. Gretchen thinks Owen is far too young for her. Archer thinks they're both ridiculous. He knows the three of them are just right for each other, if they can survive the revelations.

Jet is a writer of sexual fantasy with a firm belief that all men are at least partially gay, that vampires are just people with a liquid diet and shapeshifters live on every block.
For a series I LOVE and recommend at every opportunity...why three stars for Gretchen's story?
I keep asking myself what connected these three besides sex? The short and truthful answer is: nothing. They had no time where they seemed to spend quality time getting to know each other. Except for Gretchen and Archer being strong personalities I didn't see where they had anything in common or even that they were opposite in anything. They just both thought the other was sexy. Owen never did anything that made him strong enough not to be completely overpowered and overshadowed in everything by the other two. He had no power, it wasn't even really given any sexual power. He was always the bottom but never realized the power a bottom could have and I don't know if he will realize that in the face of two so much more self absorbed dominant lovers.
Every problem was handled separately. They never came together and worked together to get past anything that would really build their relationship or take it to another level. Weekends were described as nothing but sex and more sex. And weeks were spent APART working on separate projects. I never felt like the characters connected at all. They never learned each other’s hearts enough to fall in love.
All three think each is better as a couple without the other at one point and I didn’t disagree with each assessment.
Even when Johnny and Luc have a say what they say is mostly superficial. “I can’t give you advice, but you can always call and I will listen” “this woman is important to me” type clichés. I didn’t feel the connection between Gretchen and the boys that I did in the other books and sometimes she acted so “motherly” I forgot she was only in her early 30’s.
I was irked that some of the conversations about how hot Archer and/or Owen are by Johnny and Luc were disturbingly leering. They seemed to border on envy instead of vaguely appreciative as I would expect from men so much in love with their partners.
The hottest scene in the book is a simple description of Tyler dressed for Halloween as a catholic school girl; right down to pig tails and maryjanes and Johnny dressed in an evening gown with high heels. Out of the whole book, those three paragraphs (on practically the last page) made me sweat more than the rest of the book and all the sex combined.
While some authors can get away with porn with (or without) plot and I expect that from this genre, I don't expect it from JM when it comes to the main books of our beloved Heaven Series.
This was the last book in the series and was about Heaven Sent's manager Gretchen and the two guys she builds a poly relationship with. It was smoking hot but barely any plot. This was more erotica than story.
I'm so torn on this one. I love the other books in the Heaven Sent series, but I could not get into this one. While I don't read M/F stories often, my usual reason for avoiding them didn't exist (weak, wussy girls - Gretchen was anything but).
Still I found the story frustrating at several points. The tension between G and Archer was delicious, and so was their consummation. The shy, lack of confidence in Owen was cute without being pathetic. I liked Archer in that he was confident until he wasn't and that scared him, but Gretchen who hid behind confidence didn't jump off the page. She had her moments, but I didn't fall in love with her.
It was the main conflict that turned me off the most. Without spoiling it, I hate secrets as a plot device.
Overall, had the big conflict been of a different subject matter, I would've probably enjoyed the story/characters much more.
One more book in my favorite series, I put this one off for a while because of the girlie bits but, overall, I liked it. The sex between Archer and Gretchen was hot the first time but between Archer and Owen it was always hot.
Unfortunately, I didn't care for Archer very much throughout most of the story since he seemed so cold and distant and it felt like he had a separate agenda. I don't think the characters in this story were as well-developed or as enmeshed as the MCs in the other stories of the series so, although I liked the story, I didn't love the story.
Be that as it may, I'd still recommend the series to my friends, and I love the guys of Heaven Sent and their partners so it's always nice to read a book in the series where we get to see the others in a different role.
I had a hard time reading this one. Though I loved the characters, I am not a fan of menage or of reading any m/f scenes. It is only b/c I love the series so much and am a huge fan of Jet Mykles that I even read it. I had to cover my eyes, skip over the icky girl bits, but I did finish it. While not my cup of tea, it was well written. I love the other Heaven Sent books much much better. I have re read those books at least 4 times. Not many authors can pull off a book that can be read over and over again. But Jet seems to do it with ease. I've yet to read any of her fantasy books, but the contemporary, gay for you ones are at the top of my list of best books ever!!
Maybe I should just say to read JenMcJ's review and say "ditto". There was so much sex in this that there wasn't much room left for actual story. So different from the other books in the series. Archer seemed like a self-absorbed prick until almost the very end where he gets one redeeming quality. And, poor Owen!
And, yes, the bit at the end with Tyler and Johnnie in costume was the best part. Lol
I took another star off of my rating because I don't plan on reading this one again.
Yay, I get to be the first rating/review! This is book 6 in Jet Mykles's Heaven Sent series. But as everyone knows, this is not an m/m romance, but an m/m/f! There are some inherent problems with this. I've yet to read an m/m/f story where I was able to truly connect to the characters and their love for each other, though to be fair I haven't read that many. Gretchen, Owen and Archer were all likeable characters, but I was never truly convinced of their love for each other. The sex scenes were pretty good, though there wasn't quite enough of it. But don't worry guys, Jet knows her audience. There are a couple of strict m/m scenes. And you do get little glimpses into what all the Heaven Sent boys are up to, so that's good.
Overall, a nice story and good to see all our fav characters again, but not truly satisfying for all the die hard Heaven Sent fans. I guess we'll just have to look forward to her Indigo Knight series.
I was surprise at the "female" element to this story. But since Gretchen is such a part of the Heaven Sent family it is only right that she should have her own story. And the fact that her story includes BOTH a hunky geek and a gorgeous "boy toy" only makes it even better.
I enjoyed all the characters, although Archer did give me a couple squirmy moments when he first approached Owen in the office. His "forceful" advances had me a bit nervous for the type of person he might really be. But it works out that he is just able to read these two people in his life, Gretchen and Owen, and provides the type experience they are wanting.
I also enjoyed the length of this book, we had enough time to get to know the characters and situations a little better. I only wish all the Heaven Sent stories had so much to share.
Recommended this book and the entire series for those who like some good fun stories with an interesting range of characters.
Three stars only because the other books were fantastic. Revelation instead has a plot without meant, passion, I would say logic and the sex scenes aren't so exciting as that last book. Gretchen seems little convinced and confused of "menage", Archer, instead ,seems the bad guy who want crook G's...while Owen seems weak and confused of his feelings. Archer and Owen have lied and betrayed the trust of Gretchen and seems serious to me. Suddenly that all three are in love but not there is nothing in the story that makes us understand. So I not liked very much, shame because I liked Gretched and of her character there is little in this book and nothing much of Heaven Sent :bad, very bad!
I have a hard time deciding how to rate this book, I feel three is beeing generous while a two is too harsh. I liked Owen and to just like one out of three MCs makes it hard to like the book. I didn't like Gretchen, couldn't connect with her at all, Archer had his moments but it was not love for me there either. While I haven't given top ratings to the other Heaven sent books I have liked them a lot but this one will probably be deleted from my E-redear and forgetten in a little while. While the other books have been entertaining to read this just felt like one big complication. Why do they have to lie, I don't like when they lie.
After re-reading this final book in the Heaven Sent series I had to change my original rating of a 3 to a 4. This is a really good story and the fact that it revolves around Gretchen instead of the band makes it a little more interesting.
Gretchen has spent years taking care of the boys day in and day out. Now she's taking a break at the same time the guys do. And, she's discovering the fun of two men at the same time.
Archer is completely hot, dominating and just plain Wow! Owen is sweet, sexy, shy and enough to just knock you over! The three of them light it up and make for a fun story!
3.5 stars--This was my least favorite of the Heaven Sent books. I'm not a huge fan of menages, and this trio just didn't do a lot for me. I loved Owen. I liked Archer, but Gretchen, not so much--although I must admit that I liked her just fine in the earlier books. Maybe I just didn't want a woman invading my m/m romance--could be that, not sure.
The story had its positive moments. There was plenty of steam and a nice touch of angst toward the end, and it's always nice to see the band members and their partners--though that was kept to a minimum in this read.
WOW! This really wasn't that great. The characters were all over the place and I never really believed that they were in love with each other to the point of lets be together forever and ever. I expect there to be some silly little miscommunication in the very near future for this threesome; resulting in one or more of them running away and refusing to answer their phone.
BUT!!! The sex was panty creaming hot so I'm giving it 3 whole stars.
Cute again! Loving these series! The only thing that bugged me was how Atcher khmkhm khhhhhhmed Owen the first time. Sure, G was ok with it later but it was almost cheating for me and it did not make me hot (as it, weirdly, did G). It made me mad.
And again-what is with the cover? Owen looks like a 12 year old girl. G looks way too young and Archer like some perv!
it was a good story but there were parts that got me very mad, i hated how owen was treated sometime by both other characters, also i liked how the M/M relationship was real and not only for the women, in most m/m/f books their is not alot of impotance or development of the m/m relationship but in this book it was good
I wanted to really like this book, but ended up just kinda liking it. The Archer/Owen scenes were the strongest, Gretchen just annoyed the piss out of me. I almost just wonder if the author prefers writing male/male.
I almost wsh the boys would just dump her. Overall, an ok book but not great.
I'm not liking this book too much because of the M/F/M relationship. I think the author kinda pushing it a little too far with this one. Running out of ideas, perhaps? Or just branching into a new territory? That said, I didn't like the story too much. I even skipped some pages and missed nothing about the plot. Overall, its HEA for everyone at the Heaven Sent's big family.
I liked this more than I expected to, though Archer was a bit of a sell for me. I started to like him more after we got a better view of how he felt about his company. That's when he started to make more sense.
This was such a hot hot sizzling mind blowing did I mentioned hot?!!! Hot hot hot hot Im still burning LOL. Loved it, the best in whole series, except for the very first, loved that one too, but this was different and soooo hoooot!! :D
The final book in the series was a little different from the others but still as much as I'm not the biggest fan of the trio, this one worked for me. I couldn't stop reading this series, I'm off to read the next series with the Knights...
I really like this story. I liked it as a side story to Heaven Sent and I liked the characters for the most part. Although I maybe biased, it's the arrangement I've always wanted.
