Although some of the information was outdated, it's still a very useful guide book, some of the information was very helpful. I used this while travelling in Guatemala three months ago.

I am going to Guatemala in October for twelve days. This is hopefully only installation one. Meaning, I am planning on moving there for a longer period of time in January or February 2010... this book so far has been much more enjoyable and easy to follow than I found the Lonely Planet to be.

Well, i finished this guide. and i enjoyed it a lot. there was a lot in there that helped me plan my trip. I'm leaving on Saturday! Very exciting. I would recommend this book, OR the lonely planet guide. I'll let you know when I return if I still recommend them.

This book was helpful during my travels in Guatemala, but I would recommend the Lonely Planet guide for more practical information.

Accurate, current information. The layout the book and each section made it easy to find and compare information.

Good supplement to the Moon guide, though if you only get one, get this one.
