Pup To Shark is a very information book about the life cycles of different animals. Some featured animals include: kangaroos, sharks, chickens. Facts about the life cycles of certain plans such as sunflowers are also included. Fascinating photographs depict the processes that animals and plants go through as the become fully grown. I could use this in a science lesson about life cycles, or it could be used as a resource for a research project.
I chose the book “Pup to Shark” as my life science book. The book goes through the life cycle of a shark. There are numbered pictures in the book explaining the growth and development of sharks. The book would be appropriate for preK-2nd grade readers. There is no content in this book that is concerning. This book could be connected to science. This book could be read to students to help explain the life cycle.
