Cute little science book. A squirrel teaches his little mouse and mole friends all about trees.
Great illustrations of seeds from elm, maple, oak, and pecan trees are included.
Discussions on all the different parts of the tree (ie branches, trunk, outer bark and inner bark and the roots) are easy to understand.. and the mousie looks really interested. 🐭
Even the kinds of leaves are presented. The elm, maple, oak, and pecan are broadleaf, and the cedar, fir, pine, and spruce are needleleaf. And let’s not forget the palm trees…date, fan, and coconut.
Lots of information in this teeny tiny book.
