I don't actually consider myself someone who likes horror. When it comes to movies, I don't generally watch them without a friend to laugh and make commentary on it. But something about the books intrigue me and despite having looked through other horror title listings, I still found tons in this book. There are lots of categories for all interest fields, and titles are mentioned in multiple chapters if they have multiple themes, a summary of them only provided in their main chapter with directions on where to find it in the other chapters.
The one thing I did notice though, especially since this isn't a first edition, is that there were a lot of typos. Words not included, misspelled, letters in the wrong order, forgotten letters, forgotten punctuation, etc. One book seemed to be under the wrong author; the book said the title was written by Christopher Golden and Stephen King but Goodreads says it was written by CG and someone else. And in one chapter they forgot to include Dean Koontz's name above his titles, making it seem like the titles were written by the author before him in the listing. I only knew this mistake because I own one of the titles and it's by Dean Koontz.
