Got to say it's not as witty as The Peter Principle, but that might be because Raymond Hull wasn't involved with this one. The psychology/analysis is good in this one, but could have used Hull's sense of humor to go along with it. Or at least a heightened presence of Peters' humor.
Good look at how organizations also reach their level of incompetence, which is an augmentation of the Peter Principle (which says individuals rise to the point of their own incompetence). In some ways, in our downsizing times, this is a good book to read, But utterly more depressing than The Peter Principle.
Point-less. Could have been a good book on systems theory applied to organizations. Instead we get a rambling mess, that ultimately tarnishes Peter's legacy.
