The patterns provided in this book are fun and easy to make. You can finish a character in less than a day. Most take about one ball of the premier basix brights (112 yards) for the main color.
Found a copy at my local library and knew immediately I needed to buy a copy for my own. The patterns are easy to read and work up so well, but I would say they are almost intermediate level for some. I would have liked to see more stitch instructions in the book itself but it’s nothing a quick YouTube search can’t fix. As of spring 2025 when ordering their preferred yarn from Premier Yarns I’ve noticed the colors are not always as pictured (especially the “Rust” and “mushroom” colors!), so be prepared for that. I’ve been using Bernat Blanket (another of their recommended yarns) and it’s perfect! Highly recommend to anyone looking to get into crocheting heirloom loveys, but warning: it is addictive. 🙃
I really enjoyed the quality of this book!! It's super detailed with tons of pictures which is always helpful for visual learners like me. My only complaint is that there isn't a Table of Contents in the front (unless I missed it somehow) otherwise this is a fantastic book!! These patterns are adorable
The pattern worked up super cute and the pattern was easy to follow. I plan on making more of these in the future for people who r having children. The frog pattern was great
I’ve actually crocheted 9.5 of the animals in this book so I’m counting it as read. These patterns are ridiculously easy to follow and make the absolute cutest loveys. Highly recommend if you’re a crochet girlie (or boy-ie).
I love these loveys, I’ve made several so far and all have turned out adorable! Unfortunately I don’t have pics. I was so excited to give them as gifts I forgot to take a photo.
This book is great. Well written, easy to follow instructions with pictures for guidance along the way. I have made 3 of these loveys as gifts and they were very well received. Would highly recommend this book for crocheters of all levels.
Can’t wait to make some of these! They are absolutely precious. The instructions are so clear and it takes you step by step through the entire process. This book is so charming, I’m going to gift it to my crocheting friends. Totally worth the purchase!!
I loved this- bought it first as ebook until the library finally got a physical copy- I made the dragon and I've started the hippo. Clear easy to understand patterns that turn out absolutely perfect!
