Couldn't finish because it was very long-winded and dull. The old-fashioned writing style made it hard to read. I'd still like to learn more about the Stanislavski method of acting, but maybe from another source that is more reader-friendly.

An extra 45 pages in the revised edition

the book can be divisive with some people only liking a few things,
others most everything

I stopped reading near the beginning.... Some bits were helpful but it was very boring, couldn't carry on
