Never Have I Ever asked a stranger to take my virginity

Rosalie
I have a plan. A goal. It never occurred to me how sheltered I was until I played… and failed a game of Never Have I Ever. Now I have a list of firsts I want to experience.
And there’s only one person who can help me with it.
Grayson is the complete opposite of me. Tattoo’s, dark hair, piercings. You name it, he’s probably done it.
And now I’m on the way to ask him to take my virginity and to show me his world. How he lives. How I can be like him.

Grayson
An angel.
Those are the first words that come to mind when I see Rosalie standing outside of my door, holding a dirty to-do list in her hands, begging me to corrupt her.
I should say no. Everything in me screams that this is a bad idea.
I’m the bad guy, the fuck up, the guy who doesn’t do relationships.
She’s a good girl, innocent and believes in love.
This will never work.
So why do I want to say yes?

The premise of this sounded super fun, something I’ve never read before and I was super excited to try it out. But unfortunately, it ended up not being for me.
I didn’t really feel connected to the characters and some of the descriptions were a little cringe to me personally. I wish there was a little more to the plot, but it does definitely provide what it says in the synopsis, just nothing else really, which is unfortunate. :(

I will say though, the smut in this was written really really well, it was probably the most enjoyable part for me, it seemed very realistic and genuine. I think this author will really grow with time- I’d definitely be open to trying other books by this author in the future because I can see good writing here, there are just a lot of teething issues imo x

DNF at 13%

I hate to dnf so early on... but the second hand embarrassment was so real.

They saw each other from across the room at a party, the first thought he had was she's an angel.
After playing never have I ever she realized she doesn't have any experience and she saw he drank for everything they said. So the next day, even tho she knows nothing about him and they never really talked, she showed up at his house with a list and asking him to take her virginity 💀

I know that's pretty much what the premise said and I should've known better, but idk, I thought it'd more... subtle and less cringe.
I originally wanted to read the second book in the series. but I wanted to give this a try first.

And yeah... That was when I stopped reading.

horrified looks from everyone in the room

[🦕] OVERVIEW: interesting read! I felt like Rosalie and Graysons relationship was filled with lust, and attachment. more than an emotional connection. I didn’t enjoy the writing style either or even the ending. aiden was the only person who had critical thinking skills

[🩵] ROSALIE: I have mixed feelings about her, in my opinion I felt like there was always something missing in her character.

[🐟] GRAYSON: for someone who is intelligent, he acts extremely stupid. I hated him, and I hated his dialogue. his character could’ve been portrayed more throughly, but instead it’s the same old “bad boy” persona who has daddy issues and mommy issues.

[🩵] quote:

“ I want to kiss the living daylights out of her every time I see her, and that won’t be possible if I taste of smoke. I don’t ever want to see that look of disgust on her face again.”

This book is about a girl who’s been shut out of life and wants to live a collage life. She’s this shy girl who has no sexual experience and she doesn’t realise how bad it is until she plays a game of never have i ever. She gets insecure and seeks help from the bad boy player and dangerous Grayson Carter. She makes a list of stuff she wants to explore and experience and he agrees to help her.

This book was so flipping cute.

I really did enjoy it so so much.

Rosalie is the sweetest girl ever and i love her with my whole heart.

Grayson oh my godddd 🤭🔥 He is the hottest i swear. I literally had butterflies nearly the whole book because of him.

The book had some plot and i didn’t expect some of it.

This was my first time reading by Stephanie Alves and i definitely wasn’t disappointed, i definitely will continue on with this series.

I really did enjoy the spice and the romance in this book.

Was this book a bit fast paced ? yes, but i still enjoyed it which is unusual. I like more slow paced but the way Stephanie wrote it made it good.

I loved how Grayson agreed to help her but wasn’t going to do it with her. I really respect that because most guys would jump at that, but he didn’t.

Gonna keep this review shorter but i honestly did love this book so so much !!!!

No esperaba que me gustara tanto. Es una historia divertida, picante, con dos protagonistas que son tontos por no darse cuenta lo que tienen adelante. Ella en muchas ocasiones se pasaba de ingenua, pero bueno

I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book and I finished it the same day! It's a good girl/bad boy college romance that starts with you guessed it a game of Never Have I ever. Rosie grew up sheltered and realizes during the game that she feels a little too innocent. Grayson is the bad boy everyone talks about. He seems like he's done it all. Rosie decides to ask him to help her get through her dirty to-do list.

I completely fell in love with Rosie as a character! Not only do I feel like I related to her, but by the end I was aspiring to be like her. She was innocent and inexperienced, but she dove into life with such abandon. She was fearless, determined, and resolute for what she wanted in life. Grayson was ever the gentleman despite his bad boy persona. Like so many people in the world, he was simply a misunderstood person drowning in a trauma he couldn't quite accept.

Let me just say, I felt every emotion these characters did. From second-hand embarrassment like I was actually witnessing some of the things to the heartbreak that we all experience when young and in-love, I experienced it all along side Rosie!

When I was deciding my rating for this book, I was so torn! I really did love it and thought it was great, but I couldn't help feeling like it was missing something. I think I really wanted to see Rosie become that strong woman that knew exactly what she wanted and what she deserved. You kinda get to see it, but I think adding a scene that really showcased it would have brought even more to her character. All around though, great book and I would definitely recommend!

Never Have I Ever was one of your typical college romances with a little bit of spice thrown in.

We follow the story of Rosalie, spoiled sheltered rich girl who wants to live the normal college girl experience, drink, do drugs & lose her virginity. She wants to live the life of Grayson Carter, college “bad boy”. After the rumours she’s heard, she knows he’s just the guy to help her tick off this college girl checklist, but what she needs to do is keep her emotions in check. Grayson has one rule, don’t fall in love with me. With a few twists & turns along the way, we learn that sometimes there’s more to someone than the words spread by others.

I enjoyed this read, I wouldn’t say I LOVED it but it was still definitely enjoyable. I’m interested to see where the next book goes.

"I'm scared to lose you. To me, you are the definition of love and I'm so sorry, angel. I'm sorry it took me so long to figure my shit out and realize hoy crazy in love I am with you."

.

This was so fun. It reminds me a lot when I was younger and used to read books like this one, short novels, quick and easy to read, with a good amount of spicy and, obviously, teenage drama.

My self from a few years ago would have loved it, however there are topics that I cannot ignore now, and there were many situations and conversations that I did not like how they were developed, however I enjoyed it a lot and had a good time reading it.

I would recommend it, only if you're sure of what you'll read, because it's just what you'll find, so you can't create high expectations. Also, the English level is pretty good if you're new reading in this language, it's a good book to start of.

I actually really enjoyed this book. It was a good NA college romance, very fast paced and cute. The only thing critic I would give is more editing as I did see some grammatical errors. Otherwise it was a good book!!

Wow, I might be enjoying this book far more than I initially intended! It is practically filled with annotations, most of them thanks to Grayson . I mean, I might even be falling for him a bit myself!

: ̗̀➛ The story revolves around Rosalie, a girl who's been somewhat shut out from living life fully and wants to embrace the full university experience. She’s this shy, inexperienced girl who doesn’t quite realise just how sheltered she’s been until a game of Never Have I Ever leaves her feeling rather insecure. In response, she turns to none other than the bad boy, Grayson Carter, for help. Rosalie makes a list of things she wants to explore and Grayson, much to my delight, agrees to be her guide.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ Now, Grayson... where do I even begin? From their very first encounter, he exudes bad boy energy. You know the saying "Good girls go to heaven, but bad boys bring heaven to you"? Well, Grayson certainly brought heaven to Rosalie and me tbh He’s undeniably attractive, but there’s such a softness to him when it comes to Rosalie. He never expected to fall for her, yet he can’t stop thinking about her well-being. He’d genuinely do anything to make her happy. The moment Grayson found out that Rosalie had never been given flowers, he started buying them for her, even choosing ones that matched the outfits he’d seen her in! OH have I mentioned? He quit smoking for her. If he wanted to, he would, isn't it? And those romantic gestures? He takes her to watch the sunrise and whisks her away on his motorbike. Honestly, Grayson is so misunderstood by everyone, and towards the end there’s a major revelation about him that really caught me off guard. Learning more about his personal struggles absolutely shattered me.

“You'll be safe, Rosie. I promise.”

⊹ ࣪ ˖ As for Rosalie, she’s incredibly sweet and innocent, and her passion for fashion is genuinely admirable. I loved watching her grow more confident and bold after meeting Grayson. She really came into her own, and seeing that kind of character development is always so rewarding.

“I'm in love with you, and that's why I helped you. Because even if you don't want to be with me, I still want you to be happy, whether that's here or in another state.”

This book is without a doubt the quintessential "good girl x bad boy" trope. But what I truly love about their relationship is that it feels like so much more than just Grayson helping Rosalie tick off a list of experiences. It’s deeper, more genuine, and full of unexpected emotional connection. There’s real growth between them and that’s what makes their bond so captivating. And the spicy scenes? Let’s just say they were incredibly well done, never feeling rushed or forced, which is always a plus. I may or may not have felt a little stirred by the praise Grayson showers on Rosalie... ahem, moving on! All in all, this book was so captivating that I somehow managed to finish it during a three-hour lecture (which I do not recommend btw!).

── .✦ favourite lines:

“I want you. Today, tomorrow, and the next. If you'll have me, I want to be yours. Completely yours, and I want you to be mine.”

“I want to wake up with you, go to sleep with you, go on adventures with you. I want to buy you flowers every single day.”

“I'll do anything for you, angel. Everything. I will be the best for you. I will do everything in my power to make you happy. Whatever it takes, I will do it.”

I'm going to be quick with this review of the book. It felt like something a 15-year-old had written, and I didn’t like it at all. It didn’t have anything unique. I thought I was reading on Wattpad.

If you find yourself bored then feel free to read it p, just so you know you will lose time on it. The book isn’t book. But I can not say the same for the author since this is the only book I have read for her. So, if u want to read a book from her please don’t read this one but another book from her that at least might be better than this book.
