A near all inclusive book, encyclopedia style of just about every famous guitarist you've ever heard of. Every guitarist has a page written about him accompanied with a picture. Notes detailing albums they've done, both with a band and solo are included. I've used this book as inspiration to jot down these albums and give them a spin on online venues. It's incredible the amount of good music I didn't know was out there. And thanks to this book I've discovered things I've missed.

Being published in 2009 there is only one thing lacking with this great little book: an updated edition.

As a new guitar player, this book is amazing and really does give a great overview of some of the greatest guitar players that ever lived. Beautiful color photos and every important guitarist (and some you may not have thought of) graces the pages.
