Quit reading this book after about 200 pages. Very hard to read and understand. For all the good things to say about Hodge (precise, scientific systematician, very smart) he didn’t write a commentary that is readable to my eyes in 2018. Perhaps it is because of the language/time barrier. I initially bought the book to help me research for a paper and it served that purpose well.

Pastor Wilson has been preaching through 2 Corinthians so I was reading this book at the same time. Very good

A classic for study. It can feel a bit meandering for someone who might not read a more older, modern, style. It is solid in how it handles the text of 2 Corinthians
