Ride with Wings was a cute story; I really enjoyed it. Living during the time of the Pony Express... with anger, hatred, and bitterness--not to mention, blizzards--swirling through their lives, Shelby Jackson and Braden Russell both have things to let go of, and journeys to go on.

There's something about these "older" books that just never fails to captivate me. The history part seems realer somehow. So far, the Serenade Saga books have pulled me into an incredible, historical-rich journey filled with emotion and excitement.

We have orphan Shelby dressing up like a boy to try and get through life unharmed; and soul-tortured Braden trying to dish out a revenge that isn't his duty to dish out. Not to mention, Indian scares, and wiry, young men desperate to keep the mail going across the country.

A fun book with a serious twist. I'd recommend to 16 and up who enjoy a sweet, adventurous historical!

I loved this book, it was wonderful. A well wrote story and characters. A good romance while also being a good western, it's hard to find one that's both. I was intrigued since the opening scene with Braden's reoccurring dream and it's narration. I loved the relationship between Shelby and Braden, from the moment they meet there is a connection and pull they feel towards each other but since he is bent on revenge against those who destroyed his family and she is pretending to be a boy, they try to ignore it not even sure what it means, but even so their bond deepens and they help each other move on from their tragic pasts. All the while tying up the story involving the Pony Express and those who killed his sister and her father. Braden also struggles with his faith and how it helps him overcome his need for revenge. A beautiful well wrote story with a perfectly sweet ending. It has become an instant favourite.
