Lily My life is a nightmare.

Will he be my salvation? Or will Blood Day destroy us both?
Welcome to the future where the superior bloodlines make the rules. You’re about to enter the Blood University world, where humans have no rights. No choices. And there are no second chances. Proceed at your own risk.
Author’s This novel concludes the Blood Day duet and features episodes previously published in Kindle Vella’s Blood Day.
USA Today Bestselling Author Lexi C. Foss loves to travel and write in supernatural worlds. Paranormal romance is her favorite genre, but she dabbles in contemporary romance when she needs a break from the darker side of her mind.
Coffee is her addiction, swimming is her passion, and she has a not-so-secret adoration for eclipse chasing.

Here we continue Cedric and Lily’s story as they move forward and attempt to find a way to be together. But with the odds stacked against them and blood day looming things can only get worse before they get better. Cedric will also have to decide just who he can trust and making the wrong choice could mean death for his precious flower.
My heart was literally in my mouth regarding lily’s fate especially with the pending arrival of Cedric’s sadistic maker add in the blood day ceremony where lily will now learn where she’s been assigned and well I was on bloody pins throughout. This also upped the feel factor and Cedric definitely brought his A-game to play. His devotion to lily was beautiful especially now that he has finally accepted everything he feels for her. Their chemistry together was electric and I was rooting for their success and future together.
This had passion and tension and plenty of delicious danger I loved all of the unexpected reveals and can’t wait to learn more regarding Prince Khalid and his little Mirage. An imaginative story that only enhances the original series. I definitely recommend this duet as usual this author totally delivered the goods. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of Blood Days Part two.
I love the Blood Alliance series by Lexi. And while patiently waiting for the last book to be released, Blood Day was a great way to get back into the world!
Part Two immediately picked up where the first one left off (Or, if you read the ebook with the full duet included, you won't even notice where one starts and the other ends). The whole concept of the Blood University and Blood Day is horrifying. In the other books, the story usually starts after Blood Day, so it was interesting to see what it was like before. Blood Day felt like the looming end for Cedric and Lyla's love affair. And I dreaded but also anticipated that day because I knew shit was about to hit the fan. And it sure did...but not like I was expecting.
Overall, a great duet, and if you're a fan of the Blood Alliance series, you're gonna love this one, too!
I'm so intrigued by Khalid and his little mirage, and I can't wait for their story.
🗂Genre: Paranormal Romance 📕Type: Duet, Part 2
🏷Tropes: - Dystopian world where vampires, Lycans rule and mortals are slaves - Teacher x student/ University - Forbidden Love - Fated Mates - Vampire x Human - Spicy spice with biting
⚠️Safety: ff scene, mistreatment of humans, dub-con, non-con (not between MCs), blood-drinking, psychological conditioning of humans, murder and torture
The tension continues to build in the second part of this duet. Lily and Cedric are approaching everything from so completely different perspectives, it’s no surprise when Cedric thinks he’s putting her on the path to a better, less painful fate, that Lily misunderstands his intent, and is even more intent on proving to him that she is capable of the goals she has for herself.
Caught up in royal politics, Cedric is forced to make decisions he’s less than thrilled with, but hopeful that they will help Lily. But as things start to really come to a head, that stubborn nature of hers that draws him to her ultimately ends up wreaking more havoc then either of them could anticipate. Lily also continues to struggle with understanding why Cedric is being kind and giving her hope that she so afraid to have. They really do need to learn to trust each other in order to get out the other end of this situation intact. Interestingly, Cedric finds a way to use their chemistry to get through to her, and help her fight for her future.
The pacing picks up a lot in this second half, and a LOT happens that keeps the story engrossing. Since this is essentially a bit of a prequel duet for the Blood Alliance World, it’s really cool to see some familiar faces appear at what is clearly the early part of their story, as well as referencing other characters that end up having a significant impact on the rebellion that is waged throughout the series, and it’s a great tie in.
Overall a great conclusion to the duet, the second book coming in much stronger and sucking me in. The spice is excellent, the dynamic between Cedric and Lily is so intriguing, and I loved how it evolved. I also loved the side plots that we saw get set up for other characters - always love seeing these things sprout in the fringes.
In Blood Day Part Two, the second book in the Blood Day duet by Lexi C. Foss we return back to Blood University once again and boy is it a wild ride!!! Foss is a true master at creating worlds and characters that suck you right into the story, never letting you go, and this school is no exception!
In a world ruled by the “superior” bloodlines such as vampires and lycans and where humans have no rights, our heroine Lily just works on surviving—Until fate intervenes and provides possible salvation in the form of a vampire professor, a vampire who realizes he wants her all to himself. Yet in a world where human are essentially cattle, keeping her is not allowed.
However Cedric is willing to go to any means necessary to secure his precious flower. But what happens when betrayal lurks around every corner and previous alliances seem to turn and plans set in place suddenly go awry? So the question is…can they survive what’s coming?!? Grab this one now to see for yourself!
Everything is finally coming to a head and the whole time I was reading I felt anxious. The “what’s going to happen nexts’ that we’re repeating in my brain through this second half was actually giving me a headache. I wanted to fast forward to the end to find out what had gone on but at the same time wanting the story to last and last.
It really is a dark and depraved but highly delicious world that Ms Foss has created. It’s original in that I’ve never read a take on vampires like this. It’s unpredictable in that the author △⃒⃘Lways knows How to leave her readers guessing as to what’s to come and she has a way of writing these characters that you know if you met them in real life you’d be scared witless at but also really desire everything these characters have.
Another great Blood Alliance masterpiece. Highly recommend!
So I have read quite a few of Foss’ books. I think warnings should be clear from a good author, especially when going off script from the other books that I have read of hers. I read a-lot and of different stuff, but I don’t read w/w and m/m. I also don’t like flat out degradation without purpose. Just not my thing. I appreciate the authors who put forth warnings for people who aren’t into things or have triggers. Please take the few extra seconds when making your descriptions to include things for your readers benefit.
This book has w/w and when the story first suggested it, I thought here goes another book that will be a DNF, but then it stops and I’m like ok I’m good, only for the story to bring it back full force. No thank you. I’m not saying I wouldn’t read another of her books, but if this becomes a trend I wouldn’t.
"It would be a beautiful death. And We'd spend forever together in the afterlife."
Things get pretty messed up and Cedric may have placed his trust and Lily's life in the wrong hands
"A relationship that transcended time and space and redefined the formalities of a pure existence" These two are absolute magic together - I admit there were times I wasn't sure who betrayed who but I wanted to believe in Cedric so much
"You are a dose of fragile vitality. My Lily" Lily is not about to go down without a fight. Betrayed or not she will take her last breath on her terms
This is the second part of the duet - It ends on a happy enough for now I still had all kinds of questions but I know the answers will come It would be hard to choose a favorite from this series as each episode is a five-star read but these two would be in my top five
This does deal with some darker themes - human cattle, brainwashing, noncon, blood - lots of blood, etc... So if that is not your cuppa you may want to pass For the rest of you Holy cattle!!
Following the events from part 1, part 2 did not disappoint. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. Lexi is a master at world and character building and you really didn’t know how Cedric and Lily’s story would end. She keeps you guessing until the end but the ride there is very worth it. I love seeing how the characters interact with one another and the steamy scenes in this book keep you eager to see what happens next. Lily’s had just the right amount of backbone and Cedric, I just loved him then I hated him then I loved him again. This has become one of my favorite books in the Blood Alliance series
Blood Day part two is a continuation of Lily and Cedric’s story and the journey towards Blood Day when humans that have attended the Blood Universities “graduate” and are chosen for their future paths❣️Unfortunately, Lily’s fate is connected to a fate no human should have to endure😳 A steamy and dark tale that I loved…I’m looking forward to learning more about Khalid🤩
I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review❤️
For the first time we truly get jnsight into the complete lack of regard many lycan and vampires have for humans. When Blood Day arrives and Lilly finds other fate, I really feared for her existance. Meanwhile Cedric is caught up in what can only be described as a political vice, unable to help Lilly. Great duet with characters that I loved and a fantastic story that brought us back into the Blood Alliance world.
I really enjoyed the ending (or beginning) of Cedric and Lily's story, although I had major anxiety for the majority of the book, not knowing what was going to happen. BUT that teaser for Khalid and Emine? I'm dying to read their story!!!
This was a great duet. So I didn’t get to see Khalid with Lily, but it was still a fabulous read. It’s dark and gritty. I can’t wait to read more from this universe.
I wish this had a HEA instead of a HFN ending. My rating is still only this high because of the MMC. I enjoyed his POV and was happy to get more of it throughout this book.
I am not too sure if I would read it again. Not because of me disliking the book or finding it boring. There were just parts I found hard to get through and were not my cup of tea.
I have been so eagerly awaiting this book’s release! It was first brought to us by Kindle Vella slowly releasing one chapter at a time. I forced myself to wait until the entire duet was complete, knowing how much I would be driven insane having to read it by little bits and pieces. Patience is NOT my virtue when it comes to reading. Let me tell you that this gem was worth every second I couldn’t sink my teeth in! (Pun definitely intended😁)
Cedric is no doubt, an ancient vampire that has seen the world change from old times of humans ruling the world and lychans and vampires “living” in the background to a newer world run by the superior beings while humans are nameless slaves to these beings. This way of life is stagnant with no excitement, that is until he met her. His Flower, his Lily. His reason to exist. Even if it is to kill her and give her a quick and painless death, to keep her from having to live a painful, torturous and enslaved life.
Prospect Four Hundred and Seven, Year One Hundred Seventeen, is determined to land a spot as a Vigil, a protector in combat but little does she realize that she is just too small. Unbeknownst to her,Master Cedric, her professor, will continue to fail her in hopes of leading her down a different path. She is strong and resilient which may be detrimental to her life. Will her will be her downfall? Can Master Cedrick resist this little meek, withering flower? Let me tell you this story is 🔥🔥🔥! And I CAN’T WAIT for Khalid’s story!!
