When I was a kid, I remember this being one of my favorite Christmas books. I was really into Alvin & the Chipmunks, and I also really loved the story of A Christmas Carol, so I was all about any adaptation of that. I stumbled across this today, and now I'm not so sure why I loved it so much. It wasn't as disjointed or abrupt as I thought it might be for a book so short--it actually has a solid, easy-to-follow plot. But I'm not sure it's anything special, just a nostalgic find for me.

I picked this book up at a thrift store recently just because I have a soft spot for 80s/90s cartoon Alvin & the Chipmunks and it did not disappoint. It was such a fun reimagining of A Christmas Carol and sparked a great amount of joy in my life for just .25 cents.
