Real life isn't reel life, right? At least that's what Jeremy Jones tried to tell me after his red carpet smoochfest with Paige.Not. Buying. It.Besides, I'm too busy drinking in all the local color (from Mayan ruins to Cheeseheads!) as part of my sister E's entourage . . . and digging deep to find out who's behind the mysterious mishaps on the Two Sisters set. Because all roads seem to be leading back to (big gulp) . . . yours truly.

Jessica Ortiz, younger sister of famous actress Eva Ortiz, has so much to do to solve the mystery behind the Two Sisters set. Besides trying to solve this mystery when she isn't the protagonist of it, she has to put up with her sister's lie about an imaginary boyfriend named Heathcliff, who "she" is going out with. Eva told this lie to Jeremy, an actor on the Two Sisters set, after he was seen on the red carpet kissing Paige, so that he wouldn't need to "explain the truth" to Jessica.

Reading this book was like having a backstage pass for the Two Sisters set. It's like I'm actually there watching everything that's happening, when I'm only reading a book. I like this book because I'm a very curious person, somehow like Jessica. With this interest, I've been getting along pretty well with this book. This book is filled with random things happening that nobody knows what's actually going on. This keeps the suspense going on and it doesn't bore me at all.

No offense to the characters in the book, but I like how there's something new happening when the previous thing didn't end yet. This is because again, it maintains the suspicion. In my opinion, this is what keeps the readers awake, having them actually able to finish reading the whole book. I also like the events that are happening and how mysterious these people are. The different kinds of people and things they do that exist in this book tells the readers what kinds of people there are in this world. This can also be a life-learning lesson for them.

In addition to watching everything that's happening when I'm only reading a book, there's a lot to add on. I like this feeling because at times, reading books can be boring. In my opinion, I think that it's better when the reader is able to imagine what's happening based on what they're reading from the book. This way, they are reading and it's also easier to understand what's happening when some things are visual.

I would recommend this book to anyone because I think that it's appropriate for all readers. There aren't any things that are inappropriate and I think that's most important. Although it's recommended to everyone, I think that ones who love reading mysteries would be most interested, since there's so many mysteries going on behind the Two Sisters set.

When we last left almost fourteen-year-old Jessica Ortiz in BACKSTAGE PASS, she'd just saved the day by catching the freaky stalker who was harassing one of the stars of Two Sisters. Now, the Ortiz family is back, along with a whole new set of problems.

Even though Jess's sister, Eva, is one of the stars of a hot television show, it's hard hanging out on set when your own special jinx seems to bring trouble wherever you go. After the near-misses with a string of Very Special Guest Stars, she was almost banned from the set. This time around, her luck might be changing -- at least when it comes to her on-set problems. Or maybe not.

First, her sister gets skunked -- literally. Then someone tampers with one of the props for a crucial scene. Then an animal guest star goes missing. Oh, sure, the cast, crew, and family members of Two Sisters gets to travel to Mexico to shoot on location, but if Jess can't solve the mystery of who is causing all this trouble, there might not be a show to film in the first place!

Not to mention that her personal life is going haywire. After her almost-boyfriend, Two Sisters star Jeremy Jones, is caught on camera kissing up a storm with co-star Paige, Jess is determined to not let it break her heart. But her sister's creative solution -- create a not-real boyfriend named Heathcliff -- is causing more havoc than it's worth. It's up to Jess to figure out who's behind the trouble on set, get over her televised dumping, and hopefully save the day once again.

ON LOCATION is another fun, fast read in THE HOLLYWOOD SISTERS series. Keep your eyes open for the next installment, CAUGHT ON TAPE, coming in September 2007.
