Not as good as the previous ones but the last story certainly saved it in its utter hilarity! Also the art style changed and I can’t say I’m fond of it in the slightest. It’s not terrible, I just prefer the original style for this series.
#32-The Big Payoff!: Um, this was all about…taxes? Ohkay, if you insist… Pretty much some of the Avengers haven’t been paying their taxes and to get the IRS off their backs they agree to make several supervillains pay their’s. Interesting concept for sure and it had it’s humorous parts, though I found Luke Cage being a “momma’s boy” very annoying.
#33-You’re Driving Me Crazy: They fight dinosaurs and have to survive, ahem, I mean, GIVE driving lessons to Ka-Zar (whoever this barely clothed cave man dude is). Best part of this one was Spider-Man’s commentary and comments. Otherwise very forgettable.
#34-Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos!: So, time travel because reasons and Avengers do a lot of time hopping, then a meet and greet and some punching with guys from WWII who got sucked into the same problem. Once again Spider-Man saved this one with his hilarious commentary (why can’t the MCU Spider-Man be this great?).
#35-Lover’s Leaper: THIS was the best story in this volume! Hawkeye accidentally uploads all the Avenger guys’ profiles onto a dating site run by a supervillain and they have to play along and go on dates and it’s HILARIOUS! Also the only story with Cap in it, so of course its points go up! So fun and the one I will definitely reread!
Not the best volume but still fun overall.
‼️Content‼️
Language: darn it; dang; heck; what the heck; geez
Violence: fighting with superpowers, weapons, and hand to hand (PG)
Sexual: shirtless guys
Other: superheroes/supervillains/superpowers; sorcerers; a portal/time travel; a character is called a goddess

This is one of the silliest collection of comics I've ever written. It's fantastic. Tobin is superb at writing character-grounded zany with a lovely, light-hearted tone. The issue where Hawkeye accidentally uploads all the male Avenger's details onto a dating website is one of my all time favourite comics.

Yet another fun MA:A collection! I especially enjoyed the first and last issues here!
#32 has the Avengers versus... the IRS. Yep. Apparently most of them owe a lot of taxes. And they have to fight supervillains so the IRS will forgive them. I'm not kidding, this is the actual plot. #33 has Ka-Zar visiting New York. There are dinosaurs. Everyone likes dinosaurs. #34 has time-travel fun involving a lot of cats, the Tower of London, and meeting Nick Fury's Howling Commandos in Ancient Egypt. #35 is an amazingly hilarious issue in which the men of the Avengers are left to their own devices, which results in Hawkeye accidentally signing all of them up for a dating site that is secretly run by Batroc the Leaper (yes, yes, this is the actual plot) who blackmails them all to go on blind dates.
Earth's mightiest heroes, people. Blind dates. Back taxes. Come on.

For anyone over the age of twelve thirteen or there abouts i would only recommend the first story in this, as it is, from my perspective at least, a quite inventive and brilliant, if not overly well developed satire about taxation, with what is for me a quite excellent anarchist/libertarian sting in the tail, basically, not to ruin anything for anyone, pay your taxes or else get crushed by giant green monster, 'no taxation without representation' 'Boston tea party' be damned, but then get your own back by making HUGE tax deductions.
The other stories are also quite fun and inventive, but not anywhere near as good as the first, and certainly not particularly memorable, also, WHERE THE HELL IS THOR?

An interesting collection of stories starring the Avengers. There are stories about taxes, dinosaurs taking over the city, time traveling villains & an online dating service. The kids will love it.
