This book was a short informational text describing everything you need to know about snails and slugs. This is probably good for around a second grade level because of the simple and large text. It was easy to read, very informative, and a fun subject to read about. The pictures included went along perfectly with each section, and helped illustrate certain points or show more meaning to the text. This book was a great informational read because it has many access features. It is broken into sections with descriptive titles and subtitles and is complete with a glossary, so a reader can flip to whatever specific subject they need to read about. This book also had charts, an index, and even a resource page for further reading. These elements make it a great and informative book that had a good balance of fun and facts.
