Growing up, I loved dolphins and I think I would have really enjoyed this book in elementary/middle school. It has so much information about the different breeds of dolphins. Students will learn about how playful dolphins can be and how they are a species that stick together as a family.

I learned that at one time, there was a movement to protect dolphins and now, on the tuna cans you can see if it is dolphin protected, with a seal on the back of the can. I liked the pictures, but did not like the narration so much. I want to know more about dolphins not the excursions tha the author went on.

This book is about the life of the Dolphins like their habits, life span, behavior, babies... Dolphins doesn't sleep at night, they just take a break and then they swim to the surface of the water and breath. To learn more about dolphins, read this book.
