This book has a style very similar to Tom Clancy, in fact, elements of the story are incredibly similar to The Hunt for Red October. The story is thrilling, but overall it lacks some polish. There is technical detail that makes it clear the author did homework, but at times the dialogue feels pointless and fails to develop the characters who are speaking.
Overall though, an exciting story with some surprises against a pretty familiar background.

It was corny at times, but it was a good page turner. I cranked right through it while on travel. I would recommend it.
