This is a children's picture book meant for 6 year olds, as you can tell from the title. It's an anthology collection from a bunch of different authors with no specific theme in mind, just an age range/reading level.
This book was just okay. A lot of the stories I found to be reductive and simple, even for a little kid. There are plenty of picture books for little kids that can be funny and entertaining, but this....wasn't? This is coming from someone who has had this book since I was about 6. I remember not liking it all too much when I was that age. There's poetry, which is cool, but the poetry tries to be light and funny and it falls short. The entire tone of the book is confused, like it wants to be a book that only includes light and fun tales for your kid to find entertaining and not didactic but then it has a couple of stories that are VERY didactic(like the Dragon one). The language wasn't super challenging for a 6 year old either. I would recommend this if your kid is an insanely voracious reader and you just don't know what to give them anymore, just to satisfy them for a little while. But other than that, I wouldn't really recommend. My little kid self didn't like it and neither did my adult self, which is why I'm saying your kid probably won't either.

This is a good collection of stories for very young students (pk-k). The illustrations are outstanding and the stories convey messages of good polite behavior.
