He has a degree in applied physics and a postgraduate diploma in journalism.

Parts of this book I found very informative and well written, other portions toward the end were a bit over my head and harder to follow. The layout was done well but a few of the sections would have benefited from some addition material, providing clarification for us non-scientists.
