Richard von Volkmann (vor 1885 Richard Volkmann), auch pseudonymisiert Richard (von Volkmann-)Leander war ein deutscher Chirurg und Hochschullehrer sowie Poet und Märchendichter. Er trug den Titel Geheimer Medizinalrat und war Generalarzt I. Klasse.

It's a nice collection of old, presumably German, tales that are - in my opinion - different to the Grimm tales. They are mostly about the relationships between men and women and contain supernatural elements.

Eigentlich echt süß, man merkt nur teilweise, dass es etwas ältere Wertvorstellungen indisch Ausdrucksweisen sind.

Besonders gut gefallen haben mir:
Die drei gläsernen Herzen
Die Traumbuche
Der „Wunschring“
Die erste Geschichte mit der Orgel

Fand auch das unsichtbare Königreich süß

Habe das Buch grad nicht da und erinnere mich an die genauen Geschichten nicht😂😅
