Workbook and Laboratory Manual for "Radiographic Positioning and Related Anatomy"

Rate this book
This third edition of the student workbook and laboratory manual is organized as a companion to the main text. Each of the 25 chapters in the text has an equivalent chapter in the workbook/laboratory manual to reinforce and supplement the material presented. This includes both the study of anatomy and the related positioning including film critique and the evaluation of specific body parts as described in each chapter. The most effective use of this workbook/laboratory manual is for the student to complete chapter exercises immediately after reading the corresponding chapter in the textbook. To make the most effective use of the instructor's time, this study shold be done prior to the classroom presentation. In this way, the instructor can spend more time on problem areas and less time on fundamentals. The workbook/laboratory manual can also be used with other text books and resource materials.

Great book for every soon-to-be radiographer/radiologic technologist. You could say it's a bit dated since there are a lot of positions you more or less never do these days because of CT, but at the same time, one day you might stand there, having to take "that" picture you never bothered to learn, and that's when you bring out this book again. Great to have.

The Bontrager textbook is what I learned from in X-Ray school. At the time; I had a love/hate relationship with the textbook, now it is a valuable reference.
