This was one of the worst books I've read in awhile. The story is "small" and most of the plot is just hint and innuendo. The language is stilted. I'm surprised I actually finished it.

Of class,the emptiness of life without real devotion, the education of a consciousness. Simply told, but evocative. Very teachable, too.
