Nothing extraordinary that hasn't been said, or isn't common sense. The book's title is mis-leading however... Its a diet. The diet is of the low carb, low calorie variety, and not some miracle plan he's cooked up. Basically, if you eat healthy, and very little, you're going to lose weight. I would have probably felt more energized if I wasn't starving the whole time (in fact, after passing out at work the second day, I had to up the calorie intake by ~200-300 per day), and if I had followed the sleep recommendations better. Go figure, you are more energetic if you're not sleep deprived. Genius.

I object to a great deal of what's in this book. Jim is very Hollywood. His entire approach is a personal training focus. Not all of us can afford this and can be motivated by this approach. I am not. He obviously struck a chord with his shrink after the divorce hence her contribution and his mention numerous times of his kids and no spouse. I can only speak about my own personal positive experience as a result of group experience.

Gave this book 4 stars because it sounds good, but it's still "theory" for me. ;) If it proves to be "fact" I'll repost. :)) Keep your fingers crossed!
