Good book on crochet finishing techniques but there are so many variations out there that it's almost maddening, and this book barely scratches the surface. (There are only 10 pages devoted to edgings!) I was surprised to see that there are 8 projects included, as that's not what I was looking for. The styling seems dated and some of the photos are pretty dinky. So, this book will whet your appetite but there are more things out there to explore.
Finishing, combining squares, edgings, etc. are the things that make me cringe: I need to go back and rejoin an entire afghan because of this weakness. This book is a great panacea to my crochet problems, with a lot of technique that I have no idea where I was supposed to learn, and a lot of cool ideas. Will definitely be checking out again, or buying (Christmas, anyone?).
