Using this book, those new to Eclipse will become proficient with it, while advanced developers will learn how to extend Eclipse and build their own Eclipse-based tools. The accompanying CD-ROM contains Eclipse 3.0, as well as exercise solutions and many code examples.
This book is big, really big. And not especially enjoyable also. Still it's readable, but full of screenshots and listings, things that fill pages and pages. Time where the value of a book was related to its thickness is behind us. So is this text, not especially memorable, but I should admit that the authors didn't do a bad job.
