This book is insane. I think it has been translated into English from German, but I can't be 100% sure of it. My copy has a different dust jacket as the one pictured here. I also spent a few bucks on it at Half Price Books, not over $80 on Amazon!!!

All that aside, this is a very interesting look at British culture and interior design. The book comes alive through the bizare way in which things like mugs with designs on them, or door mats with witty sayings are discussed. So much of this book is so strange. I'm consistently entertained when I read this thing. Coffee table book perfection.

I like the UK and the British style, it's a great read and an inspiration source, one of the most compete books about the Great Empire!
