It's OK wish it had more actual songs to play

If your looking how to care for the harmonium then I think this is great.

It doesn't help with the playing.

Seek a teacher or watch a YouTube.

Next time please add more songs for the readers to practice. And stop taking Indians information and converting it to your own.. be authentic

If you are new to the harmonium, or if you want to learn about the history of this instrument, then this is a great starting place. This book was originally written as a handbook to the Bina 23B model harmonium, though it has been updated to be a general handbook since initial publication.

There's some basics on playing the instrument, along with good illustrations and pictures. If you're thinking about picking up this instrument and learning to play it, this book is a good one to have in your library.

Great intro text and basic repair guide. Gives some basic background on the history and devotional uses of the instrument. Worth purchasing alone for the second half of easy-to-understand functional/technical descriptions and illustrated walkthroughs of maintenance (tuning, eliminating reed buzz, etc.). I did some tuning and filed away some burrs in my reeds with this book in hand. Made me way more confident in the work.
