Kat Goldring, a member of The Writerie, JCCW, WWA and DFWWW, resides in Cleburne, Texas, along with various wildlife including albino skunks, squirrels, and raccoons. All of her interests seem to find their way into her novels: family ties, guitar playing and singing, piano, art, wildlife, travel, good food and friends.
Didn't find anything redeemable about this at all. There was no character development throughout the whole series and Quannah and Willi are stuck in a rut. She keeps information from him, until cornered or injured. She is a busy body of the first order, but her likable qualities keep her from being totally annoying. On the other side, Quannah is never around! He doesn't listen to her really, most issues are glossed over unless he's telling her to stop what she's doing. He's always there too late, and never bothers to read between the lines where she is concerned. This frustrates the heck out of me!
Then there is the fanciful nature of the murders. Truly, it is laughable. Then there are the mythological aspects. The whole book is just poorly done, and I'm sorry that I had my librarian go to the trouble of ILL the book for me!
I'm glad this series is now finished, and out of print to boot.
Could have been such a great series if done right.
