Adrianna Kline has everything she’s ever wanted. As the founder and CEO of Adrianna, Inc., Adrianna gets to spend her days developing a product, upscale lingerie, which combines her two favorite things – her company and sex. But Adrianna’s world comes crashing to a halt when Tristan Locke, her first lover and the only man she’s ever loved, shows up in her office. Tristan now specializes in corporate takeovers and he’s set his sights on Adrianna, Inc. In order to save her company, Adrianna has to sexually submit to Tristan for one night.
It’s been fifteen years since she refused to move to Los Angeles with him, but Tristan has never gotten Adrianna out of his mind, or his heart. He knows the last thing the fiercely independent Adrianna would ever want to do is to be sexually subservient. There’s nothing more fun than watching an evenly-matched battle of wills. Adrianna’s Undies features two stubborn protagonists, each bent on having their way. Having watched her mother’s constant, unsuccessful search for love, it’s understandable why Adrianna would be so dead set against letting anyone have power over her, though she’s taken her need for control to a bit of an extreme level. Tristan, the more flexible of the pair, is a perfect match for Adrianna because he knows her so well and is himself stubborn enough to prove to her that, when you love someone, you don’t always have to be fully in control. I delighted in watching Adrianna and Tristan find balance in their relationship and it was a joy to watch them learn to trust one another with their hearts.
It would be a crime to write about Adrianna’s Undies and not mention the sex scenes. Lacey Alexander writes scenes so hot it’s necessary to check your surrounding reading area for scorch marks. Tristan and Adrianna truly compliment one another in every aspect of their relationship, be it boardroom or bedroom. A wickedly erotic tale from beginning to end, Adrianna’s Undies is not to be missed!

I've not read any of this author's work before, but picked it up because she seems quite popular. Ultimately, I did enjoy this one, which was about a businesswoman who agrees to spend a night in sexual submission with an old flame, against her general nature, in order to stop him taking over her company.
It wasn't until the characters' date itself actually began that I started really getting into this book, as there was a fair bit of backstory that was just a little cheesy and faintly ludicrous (she tells us that she's about as sexually diverse as it gets, and that this man is the only man she's ever loved, and now she has a problem with a night of sex with him to save her company? What's her problem?).
Having said that, once the evening in Las Vegas gets underway, the build-up is sizzling and the sex when it comes is hot, I can see why these books are so popular now. It's all good fun, and I'll probably check out some more of this writer's work, but I probably would have given it another star if the beginning was better and the characters a little more engaging from the outset.

wasn't a fan
This one had too much inner dialogue. Other than the h/H there were only 4 instances of other people in the book and they were one or two liners... This left just the h\H dialogue and a lot of 'thinking'. Which got boring fast especially since they were repeating the same thoughts over and over.

Adrianna is such a bad-ass. I wish Alexander took the time to write a full-length novel for her.
