I actually liked this book conceptually, but didn't realize gong in that it was written from a British perspective and isn't something I found useful for my American bungalow. Which is to say, I won't be purchasing a copy of it for my personal library.

As the title implies, this is a workbook, not a real "read it cover to cover" type book. And for what it is - with a bit of history but more more in the way of design choices, fabric swatches, and color examples, it is dead on. I am not a designer - not by any means - but I found the explanations and examples quite helpful and interesting.
