A nice quick little read to fit in between the monster sized books in the series I'm reading. This story was written in 1979 and tells a story with a nice twist in regards to the standard man meets woman during a time of war concept. I only gave it 2 stars because I suspect if the author were to have written it in more recent years it would've been a trilogy at least and the characters would've been much deeper. But it is a decent book.
