I really liked this book. First off because it has to do with science. I love science. It is a very good activity book for kids to teach them about compasses, magnetic fields, and certain types of technology like GPS technology. What's funny, is when you run into that kid that seems to be a know it all in certain things, it's books like these that make them a walking encyclopedia of useful information.

What I especially liked about this particular book is that it is hands on. It gives you a little bit of information and historical knowledge and then asks the reader questions and gives them activities that they can try so that they can see for themselves.

I recommend this book for your child especially if they are into science.
