Krampus is looking for his demon Queen and his eyes are only on me.
My best friend tells me everything. She warned me I shouldn't stay in New York for the imminent holiday season. She also said my supervisor is a jerk. What she didn’t tell me is that the evil King of Christmas is real.
When my sleazy boss tries to drug me, I escape... directly into the unnervingly warm arms of Peter Krampus.
He whisks me away to his annual Krampusnacht celebration. It's hard to deny the reality of his black eyes and his moonlight-colored skin, but then he reveals himself in front of his followers, and that’s against the rules. He's a fang-gnashing, chain-whipping demon in all his unholy glory.
As much as my body longs to be enveloped by his heated embrace, he's killed for me. Despite his unnatural strength and ability to turn anything to coal, can he show me true love – and Christmas miracles – do exist?
I must make a choice, and our time together is limited. He’s banished to the South Pole for most of the year and the clock is ticking as we reach December 5
I did love this book. Its defently going on my wishlist😉. Mr krampus🥵🌶😏😏 its a bit longer then i thought it would be. But i loved this book. Including the world building
So I thought this was a novella when I started????
It wasn’t. And it should have been.
This story was WAY too long and had way too many random add-ons to it, but it was still enjoyable and steamy and riddled with errors that should probably be fixed and a fun dog named Tito and Santa is there and it was fun enough I wanted to know what happened but also so long I skimmed chunks that were wholly unnecessary.
That was a rambly way to say, I would have loved this if it had been about 150 pages shorter.
But also Krampus loves cocoa and I think that’s hilarious.
I hate giving only three stars, but... There is a thought-provoking and exciting and romantic story buried in here. It's about making judgements and decisions, and overcoming self-doubt and misgivings. Sadly, this tale about Tieran and Peter Krampus suffers from too much happening, too many issues and too much information.
What in the Y/N!? Pretty sure I wrote something similar to this when I was in 6th grade.
This woman is 32 and has been living in NYC for 8 years. How is she this timid and naive? And honestly so annoyingly buttoned up when her bff is this wild fun demon believing person.
Straight out the gate her boss is trying to SA her. Uh, girl. Record the interaction and lawyer up babe. So she’s actively running away from her creepy boss after agreeing to go on a date to save her job (a job where she’s going 17 ppls job btw), then runs into Krampus. Sure, cool. But home boy gets intrigued because she steals his hat??? Like, in love ready to wife her up bc she’s the first one to ever take his hat. Bizarre.
Also, everyone knows this demon (and vampires apparently) is real including her BFF and no one told her. Her bestie Sasha has been trying to go to Krampusfest for years but she didn’t know that? Never mentioned it once? Unlikely. And her reasoning behind not telling her that pretty much 99% of her personality is believing in other worldly things is bc ppl don’t understand. But that’s your best friend?
This book had too many random and unnecessary scenes. There’s also very little character development. I honestly did not care about these characters or story until freaking Santa came in to ruin shit. I would have preferred her cutting the scenes that didn’t move the plot forward and made this into one book v two. I was prepared to say goodbye to this but the last two pages got me. Thank god it’s on KU.
Cocoa with Krampus, Divine Demons is not your average Krampus, or Christmas Romance story, and I loved that about this book! Nattie Rhodes does a wonderful job taking something familiar, flipping it upside down and giving the readers a fabulous fable. There are a several occurrences that the story line starts to wonder off down a side street, but it does eventually come back to the main plot. This caused the book to be a little longer than it needed to be, giving way more information than needed for the plot.
I loved all the characters in this book. The main characters Peter Krampus and Tieran have one of the best meet cutes I have read in a long time, as well as compliment each other beautifully. There was plenty of angst, and comic relief from support characters to keep me intrigued throughout the entire book, and I cant wait to see if Sasha gets her own book!
this naughty book will land me on the naughty list and I'm here for it.
In our world, legends live as long as we believe. What happens when a normal overworked office employee falls right into Krampus's lap while running from a different type of monster?
ooof this book was amazing honestly, I loved the plot and characters. the spice is hot. and Nick is kinda a dick.. this book made me cry within the 1st few pages. I was an emotional wreck. I absolutely loved it and will be purchasing the paperback immediately.
Krampus is good. Santa is evil. This story proves it. While most holiday stories are under 200 pages, and considered quick reads, this one is a delicious full length novel. One that, for some reason isn’t making the holiday recommendation rounds. If you happen to stumble upon it, like I did, take the hint and read it. You won’t be disappointed.
This book is amazing and I would give it so many more stars if I could. This author had me falling in love with a demon and wanting so much more. I couldn't get enough and I can't wait to read the rest of the books and any other ones that come from this author. She is such a talented writer and makes the words come alive.
Cocoa with Krampus is book one in the series Divine Demons by author Nattie Rhodes. Ok this one is wild - never even imagined a tale like this one. Of all the tales I’ve read and been told about Krampus this is absolutely incredible. Now Santa, well let’s just say there were moments I wanted to smack him. Anywho, Cocoa with Krampus was fun and so much more. Enjoy!!
I absolutely loved this story. At its core, it’s all about finding someone and loving them for them and not what they do or who they were or what they have. Parts were rather funny and I could not stop talking about it to my coworkers. I even got told to “stop reading when you should be working” more than a few times.
I didn't know much about Krampus until I received this book, so I had to Google him lol. Great retelling of the tale of Krampus. Villain turned cinnamon roll and I loved it! The world that was created was awesome, and it is definitely a must read.
This story was absolutely amazing! I loved watching the whirlwind romance. It was fabulous watching tieran learn to believe and fall in love! I can't wait for more
3.5 stars really. This is new author that was recommended. I enjoyed the story. Quite different. Kept my interest. Did lag in few places, had few heat moments nothing super naughty. Over all I liked the concept and recommend and would read this author again.
This was beyond perfect for Christmas. Peter is the best cinnamon roll for our girl and I'm here for it. So many great moments truly a great holiday book!
Cinnamon Roll demon. Clueless, workaholic FMC. Checks all the boxes. I loved this take on the holiday and am always down to root for the "typical villian"!
Good read, but if you're looking for smut or dark romance, this is not it. I don't regret reading it, but I was expecting more heat and spice and frankly more of a bad boy.
DNF @ 59%. I really tried to push through it but it’s lowkey boring. The writing style is weird and I don’t care about the characters enough to finish.
