Sana is so awkward and I love her. Neither she nor Kanato is great at communicating their feelings, but they're sweet together, and I'm rooting for them.

SO MUCH SQUEALING!!!
Really really enjoyed this volume just as much as volume one! Sana is too cute, and at times, very relatable! I loved how she wrestled with herself concerning that she wants distance between her and Senpai, but also she wants to be closer to him and gets "upset" when she can't. I also really love how her expressions give her away every single time of what she's thinking!
I also liked how this volume introduced us to a new friend, even if it was very briefly! I was excited to see the preview for the next volume actually mention how that character would be coming back because they seem like a really fun character! We also saw more of Doigaki and was excited about that as well! He seems like such an interesting character and VERY curious if his kindness is as genuine as it appears to be? I have little doubt that he actually likes Sana, and wondering if he really does, will it cause more tension later on? Sana is too focused on Senpai I think to actually even notice, but I still think it's going to be a "concern" for later volumes.
Something else I liked was the gradual flow of time. I feel that's an odd thing to mention but I think weeks passing by worked well with the story because I'm equally invested in seeing the school's social media number of followers go up and seeing the numbers go up was indeed very satisfying. LOL! For some reason, seeing the number go up made the story itself not feel rushed or too much "time-hopping." I thought it really fascinating because I was surprised to realize quite a bit of time passed, but it felt so natural that I didn't feel upset I was "missing" things in between that the creator could have captured and showed us the reader along the way.
However, probably a large part of that is because this series seems to thrive in knowing exactly when to hit you with a cute moment! I never felt lacking, but that ending made me MAJORLY squeal!!!!
I am SO excited to see what's to come and hope it won't feel TOO long in waiting for my PO to arrive!!

It also takes more than a pretty face to make an engaging shojo, but you knew that, right?
This is, to put it very politely, kinda boring. Whatever novelty we were exposed to from its original premise has quickly and succinctly run its course in favour of the endless waiting for somebody to say something.
You’d call it plodding, except the term alone implies a certain amount of impact and this has pretty much none. It’s just an occasional near-miss of a kiss here and there and some ‘doki-doki’ moments.
Which is fine if that’s all you’re interested in, but even the core premise of Sana appreciating Kanato for who he is as a person doesn’t really seem to get much traction. She never really does articulate it in any meaningful way.
He’s nice and he likes her, she can’t believe he likes her and then comes up with a not particularly good reason to not confess and some miscommunications crop up here and there just in case you need things to feel padded.
I suspect the problem here is that this is a very by-the-numbers shojo and the idea that the school’s social media account is being used to hype up this one guy is patently insane. The tonal dissonance between the two is way off - it should be about ten times more arch than it actually is. Wackiness could ensue, but chooses not to.
Instead, we are tagging along on various photo shoots in the most banal places imaginable. Yes, these are traditional romantic moments, but it doesn’t do anything with them except frame them with a camera. The chemistry isn’t strong, certainly not enough to save it.
It felt very, very dull by the end. Even the humour strains to get a laugh and it was decent the first time around. But this has apparently exhausted its bag of tricks, which is a bummer because it seems like it should be able to milk that premise to bits.

J'ai beaucoup plus aimé ce tome là !

Verliebt in der mehr als dein Gesicht hat ein leicht unrealistisches Grundkonzept. Doch wer das nicht hinterfragt, bekommt eine leichte und natürliche Geschichte.
Der Fokus liegt klar auf den beiden Charakteren, was ich bei Romance Storys schon sehr gern mag. Beide gehen liebevoll miteinander um und es fühlt sich einfach leicht und unangestrengt an, sie zu beobachten. Es macht mir unwahrscheinlich viel Spaß sie zu begleiten und zu sehen, wie sie sich annähern, hinterfragen, missverstehen (aber irgendwie auch nicht), und gegenseitig konfrontieren.
Ich dachte Highschool-Romanzen, da bin ich rausgewachsen und dann kommt diese Reihe und beschert mir doch glatt Herzklopfmomente, weil die Chemie zwischen den ihnen einfach toll ist.

Approfondissant encore ce thème des apparences sur les réseaux sociaux, ce 2e volume assoit le plaisir que j’ai pris à lire le premier tome et me convainc de continuer la série.
J’ai en effet vraiment apprécié de suivre notre héroïne totalement gaga de son idol sur les réseaux mais surtout IRL, grâce à une autrice qui n’arrête pas de mettre en scène les fantasmes de toute amoureuse, en choisissant soigneusement les scènes qui vont nous faire craquer pour mieux le photographier et le mettre sur les réseaux. La double thématique est pertinente et percutante. Kanato veut être photographier pour rester et il veut rester pour être avec Sana. Sana veut photographie Kanato parce qu’elle est fan et parce qu’elle veut qu’il reste parce qu’elle le trouve mignon bien au-delà de son simple beau visage.
Le travail que l’autrice fait pour approfondir ce questionnement est vraiment intéressant, car elle mêle une grosse dose d’humour avec une vraie sincérité. C’est donc super mignon et amusant de voir Sana perdre de plus en plus pied devant ce qu’envoie Kanato, car il en fait des caisses pour la séduire et pas que pour les photos et les réseaux. Le décalage entre perception et réalité, surtout avec une héroïne aussi naïve qui vit de fantasme mais n’y connaît rien en relation amoureuse, est savoureux à souhait. C’est un régal.
Je me suis donc amusée comme une petite folle et on peu dire que l’autrice maîtrise son sujet et sa manière de le raconter. Elle connaît bien les fantasmes qu’on trouve dans tous les shojos qui sont des comédies romantiques et sait les utiliser ici. Elle sait aussi faire monter la tension entre les héros avec ce double enjeu du nombre de followers pour qu’il reste et de clarification de leur relation qui est hyper ambiguë. Kanato veut la séduire mais ne le dit pas. Sana veut se déclarer mais ne le fait pas. Chacun attend le bon moment et nous on trépigne. Ils sont maladroits et mignons tout plein dans ce jeu, qui est un peu celui du premier qui craquera.
Mais reste les enjeux plus complexes de cette notion d’identité. Chacun a l’impression de n’être rien. Sana se trouve inintéressante car elle pense qu’elle n’a que sa passion pour les beaux gosses et rien d’autre pour intéresser quelqu’un. Kanato se trouve bête et pense qu’on le résumera toujours à sa belle gueule. Il est donc intéressant de les voir chacun trouver en l’autre la perle rare et craquer, même si l’attente est longue.
Avec sa tension romantique piquée d’humour et son petit fond critique sur notre rapport aux réseaux et aux gens qu’on y aime pour leurs apparences, la série m’a vraiment enthousiasmée. C’est une comédie efficace qui a su rendre ces personnages pourtant clichés attachants et avec un certain relief. J’ai envie de suivre leurs histoires, de les voir s’épanouir ensemble et former un couple atypique. J’ai envie de m’amuser de leurs déboires et maladresses à leur côté. Alors voici un shojo de plus que je suivrai ! (Dire que je pensais juste le tester xD)

Molto carino anche questo secondo volume, ma penso un po meno del primo per il fatto che questi due proprio non si svegliano! NON COMUNICANO, non sembrano abituati a farlo, e parlo soprattutto di lei. Però ho apprezzato molto che se non altro il senpai lancia dei segnali grandi come una casa ( anche se è un po imbranato pure lui, non essendo pratico), però lei si tira sempre indietro. Sana è nel panico più totale quando si tratta di lui (essendo sempre stata abituata a stare dietro a uno schermo e a non avere la minima possibilità) e addirittura rimane sorpresa/sconvolta quando Doigaki le fa notare che potrebbe SEMPLICEMENTE dichiararsi o comunque parlare con Kanato.
In questo secondo volume la missione è raggiungere i 100.000 follower richiesti dal preside per non cacciare Kanato dalla scuola (sono a 70.000) e continuare a mantenere segreta l'identità di Sana come admin agli altri. Per questo motivo non possono farsi vedere troppo insieme, ma Kanato dice che quando avranno raggiunto l'obbiettivo toglieranno questo divieto; e lei decide che si dichiarerà raggiunto il goal.
Una volta raggiunti i follower lei lo porta a festeggiare, ma lui sembra non gradire e lei non ne capisce il motivo. Questo fino a quando lui non le dice che non vuole che sia tutto finito perché non la vedrebbe più magari e che non ha più senso trattenersi dal toccarsi/stare insieme....

Non fatevi influenzare troppo dai social, non ne vale la pena. Soprattutto non perdetevi i momenti belli solo per farci una foto, arrivando ad aver difficoltà nel parlare con le persone. Questo manga può insegnare molto credo.

Un bel recupero — 4 stelle
Questo secondo volume è stato una piacevole sorpresa. I protagonisti iniziano finalmente a mostrare qualcosa in più, nonostante la protagonista sia molto superficiale, e il ritmo della narrazione è migliorato.
Ci sono momenti teneri, qualche scena più sentita e una dinamica che comincia a incuriosire.
Un manga che si sta costruendo su basi più solide rispetto al primo volume.
Un volume che fa ben sperare per il seguito!

Les il·lustracions són precioses, però ni la trama ni la personalitat dels protagonistes m'acaba de fer el pes. Té un ritme força addictiu, tot i que em desespera bona part del temps... llàstima perquè dubtava si fer-me la col·lecció, però no crec que valgui la pena :(

Sana sigue emocionada haciendo las publicaciones para salvar a Kanato, pero este no parece tener miedo a lo que puedan pensar de su cercanía asi que ella pone limites, pero ahora que se ha dado cuenta de que necesita estar cerca de el será un gran problema

Bereits von Band 1 war ich begeistert. Ich mochte die recht einfach gehaltene Story ohne viel Drama, dafür aber mit viel Herz.
Auch wenn Kanato nicht so aussieht und man ihn wohl wegen seiner Äußerlichkeiten eher als oberflächlich bezeichnen wollte, ist er das ganz und gar nicht. Er freundet sich zwar aus Not mit Sana an, doch schon bald verbringen die beiden viel Zeit miteinander. Und aus Freundschaft wird für Sana schnell mehr. Doch wie soll sie ihm gegenübertreten und zu ihren Gefühlen stehen?
In diesem Band geht es eher um das innere Dilemma von Sana. Sie ist sich ihrer Gefühle für Kanato bewusst. Ihr ist klar, dass sie nicht nur auf sein Äußeres steht, sondern auf ihn insgesamt. Sie ist verliebt. Doch weiß sie auch, dass ihre Gefühle dem Ziel von 100.000 Followern im Weg stehen könnten. Trotz ihres Herzklopfens steht sie Kanato bei und unterstützt ihn dabei, sein Ziel zu erreichen.
Kanato hingegen ist richtig süß. Wie er sich in manchen Szenen an Sana hängt, ist einfach großartig. Ich mag die Szenen, wo beide nur zu zweit sind. Er kümmert sich liebevoll um sie. Man merkt richtig, wie fürsorglich er ist und dass es durchaus die Möglichkeit gibt, dass er Sana ebenfalls so mag wie sie ihn auch.
Man kann das als Leser zwar vermuten, aber richtig dargestellt wird es nicht. Dafür müssen wir wohl auf Band 3 warten. Da bin ich auch gespannt, ob Doigaki eine präsentere Rolle bekommt und wie diese sein wird. Wird sich das Ganze doch eher zu einer Drama- und Schlammschlacht entwickeln? *grübel*
Bisher mag ich es, dass es so einfach gehalten ist. Aber auch einige auftretende irre Nebencharaktere sind einfach zu putzig. Grenzen scheinen hier wenige Charaktere zu kennen und zu verstehen. Anscheinend ist für sie normal, die Privatsphäre anderer zu stören. Und das gruselt mich eigentlich. Niemand hat das Recht, einfach von anderen Menschen Fotos zu machen und ins Netz zu stellen, ohne dass die ihr Einverständnis dazu erklärt haben. Gruselig. Gerade wenn man das in einem solchen Mädchen-Manga thematisiert sieht.
Der Zeichenstil der Mangaka ist ebenfalls mein Geschmack. Die Charaktere sind gut in Szene gesetzt und die Panels gut strukturiert. Die Story lässt sich sehr gut lesen. Die Gefühle der einzelnen Figuren werden durch die zeichnerische Umsetzung ebenfalls gut dargestellt. Wirklich ein toller Zeichenstil.
Insgesamt ist Band 2 absolut toll und ich kann schon Band 3 kaum noch erwarten.

Kanato hingegen ist richtig süß. Wie er sich in manchen Szenen an Sana hängt, ist einfach großartig. Ich mag die Szenen, wo beide nur zu zweit sind. Er kümmert sich liebevoll um sie. Man merkt richtig, wie fürsorglich er ist und dass es durchaus die Möglichkeit gibt, dass er Sana ebenfalls so mag wie sie ihn auch.
Man kann das als Leser zwar vermuten, aber richtig dargestellt wird es nicht. Dafür müssen wir wohl auf Band 3 warten. Da bin ich auch gespannt, ob Doigaki eine präsentere Rolle bekommt und wie diese sein wird. Wird sich das Ganze doch eher zu einer Drama- und Schlammschlacht entwickeln? *grübel*
Bisher mag ich es, dass es so einfach gehalten ist. Aber auch einige auftretende irre Nebencharaktere sind einfach zu putzig. Grenzen scheinen hier wenige Charaktere zu kennen und zu verstehen. Anscheinend ist für sie normal, die Privatsphäre anderer zu stören. Und das gruselt mich eigentlich. Niemand hat das Recht, einfach von anderen Menschen Fotos zu machen und ins Netz zu stellen, ohne dass die ihr Einverständnis dazu erklärt haben. Gruselig. Gerade wenn man das in einem solchen Mädchen-Manga thematisiert sieht.
Der Zeichenstil der Mangaka ist ebenfalls mein Geschmack. Die Charaktere sind gut in Szene gesetzt und die Panels gut strukturiert. Die Story lässt sich sehr gut lesen. Die Gefühle der einzelnen Figuren werden durch die zeichnerische Umsetzung ebenfalls gut dargestellt. Wirklich ein toller Zeichenstil.
Insgesamt ist Band 2 absolut toll und ich kann schon Band 3 kaum noch erwarten.

Dios mío, cómo disfruté el tomo! Si bien estos capítulos los había leído hace meses por scans, no lo recordaba en absoluto, por lo que fue como leerlo por primera vez.
Algo que siento que mejoró muchísimo respecto al primer tomo es la traducción, que en el primero parecía una traducción por fans.
Me encanta como, por fin, Kanato va mostrando sus sentimientos e inseguridades. Me pareció tan tierno el final, juro que se me aceleró el corazón como hace rato no me pasaba con un romance! Iba a ponerle 4 estrellas, pero el solo recordar ese final me emociono, así que se queda con 5 🫶
